Data

People and Nature Survey

The People and Nature Surveys (PaNS) are Natural England’s flagship social science and statistics project. The surveys gather evidence and trend data through an online survey relating to people’s enjoyment, access, understanding of and attitudes towards the natural environment, and its contributions to wellbeing.

The Renewing Biodiversity Longitudinal Survey (ReBLS)

The ReBLS will be a pioneering new longitudinal panel study exploring people’s pro-nature attitudes and behaviours, health and well-being and whether these are affected by processes of environmental change and the renewal of biodiversity (both actual and perceived). This will be one of the first attempts to track changes in environmental responses, attitudes and behaviours over time within individuals.
