Catriona McKinnon and co-author Stephen M. Gardiner presented their paper ‘On Blinding Future Generations’ at the APA https://www.apaonline.org/ Pacific Division meeting in Vancouver. This paper addresses some ethical questions raised by ‘shifting baseline syndrome’ and highlights a new type of ‘epistemic injustice’ connected to intergenerational environmental knowledge.
