Natural Environment Valuation Online tool (NEVO)

An easy-to-use online system for supporting and improving decisions regarding the use of, and investments in, the natural environment....

The Natural Environment Valuation Online tool (NEVO) is a web application that helps users to explore, quantify and make predictions about the benefits that are derived from existing and altered land uses across England and Wales. The tool brings together spatially explicit data, natural science and economic models to provide insights into the integrated relationships between climate change, land use change, ecosystem service flows and economic values. NEVO has been developed in close partnership with Defra and will directly support their future strategy by providing a tool to properly value the environment. The tool is freely available to anyone and is designed to be easy to use and accessible to a wide range of users.
